Alexander Wang, Diane Von Furstenburg, Jason Wu and Michael Kors were collections that stood out for me in the pre-fall 2010 season.

This season sees a lot of black and grey tones in the form of fitted black pants, structured jackets and draped knitted jumpers/jackets from Alexander Wang. There are fun pieces in Diane Von Furstenburg's collection which includes tweed 3/4 length jackets, plaid wool blanket jackets and oversized cardigans. And I just love the effortlessly romantic dresses from Jason Wu.

3.1 = LOVE

Here are a few pieces I love from designer 3.1 Phillip Lim. Great designer, great tailor, his creations are beautiful and wearable.

Peace out xx

I picked up Barry M's Dazzle from Superdrug the other day (love their 3 for 2 deals) and after using it for a few days I have to say I love it. So much so that I had to do a review on it. I now use it as part of my daily face routine. Why oh why did I not buy this sooner!

What I love so much about this bronzer is that it's perfect for my skin tone. I find a lot of bronzers out in the market can be a little too orange. I am lazy and trying to spend ages in the morning making a bronzer work for me is not ideal. Barry M's Dazzle is just perfect, the moment I put it on it looks effortlessly natural. The powder is quite packed in and hard so not an awful lot of product gets onto your brush. That way you can layer and build it up to your liking.

Some have said that this is a good dupe for Nars Laguna (£21). I have yet to try that out but at the moment I am happy with the Barry M version (£9.50).

The only con about the product I can think of is that it has a bit of iridescence to it. Some people love it and some people don't. For me it is fine as it is not overly shimmery and can still work as an everyday bronzer.

Here are a couple pictures of how it looks in it's packaging. Smart and sturdy case, made of the same type of rubbery casing as the Nars products.

Below is a swatch of the bronzer and below that a picture of me using it as a contour.

I hope this little review will help some of you that are thinking of purchasing this bronzer.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all have had a brilliant time with loved ones. I had a quiet night, just went out for dinner and then a few drinks with friends.

I decided to add a bit of sparkle to my makeup that night and go not too mad on the outfit as it was only a local family restaurant we were going to.

For makeup I used:
  • Eyes: Face of Australia eye definer in Navy as base, Prestige Glittery sky blue eyeshadow, Collection 2000 glitter gel liner in Hustle as glitter for all over the eyelid, Mac Sweetjoy as highlighter, false eyelashes bought on ebay.
  • Face: Revlon ColorStay foundation, Barry M Dazzle bronzer, The Body Shop Blush Trio in Cool Dusk
  • Lips: Mac Plink lipstick, Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner in Eastend Snob, Barry M Lipgloss in 2
For my outfit I just wore a thigh length stretch dress from Warehouse, belt from New Look, Rose stud earings and a huge Zebra print ring from Dorothy Perkins, Necklace from Argento and strappy ankle-boot-like stilletos (which you can't see in the photo - sorry didn't have enough time to take more pictures).

I wish you all a fantastic 2010 and much happiness and success in life!
